Billing and Payments

How money and delivery work at BUBI Productions Ltd. No hidden mechanics; this page is the whole of it.

Last updated: 30 August 2026.

What we accept

Bank transfer to our UK account. Details are on every invoice.

Stripe for card payments.

PayPal.

All invoices are issued in pounds sterling. We never ask for payment to a different account by email or message; if bank details ever appear to change, verify by phone before paying anything.

BUBI Productions Ltd is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged and none appears on invoices.

How invoicing works

First project with us. We agree the scope and fee in writing, then issue the invoice. Production begins when payment arrives. This keeps the schedule honest: your slot in the production calendar is reserved by the payment, not by the promise of it.

Monthly partnerships. We invoice at the start of each billing month, on the 1st or on the day we have agreed with you, and you have 14 days to pay. Work continues through the cycle without interruption.

Third-party costs. Where a project needs outside purchases (music licences, stock footage, paid platform features, subscriptions or similar), these are agreed with you in writing before we spend anything, and they appear on the invoice as their own lines.

Late payment

If an invoice passes its due date we will remind you; things get lost, and a reminder usually settles it. Where an invoice remains unpaid, we may pause work until it is settled and may apply interest and fixed compensation at the statutory rate for business debts under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998: 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, plus the fixed statutory compensation per debt (£40, £70 or £100 depending on the amount, as the Act sets).

Delivery and storage

Drafts and final files are delivered through a secure cloud drive dedicated to your project.

Final deliverables are released on delivery of the agreed work; for first projects the fee has already been paid before production, so nothing holds delivery back.

Files stay available on two clocks, not one. The footage, masters and working project for a video stay available for one year after that video is delivered, so a lost file or a re-edit request does not become an emergency. The brand-level material, the strategy, the research and the SOP built around your brand, stays available for one year after the partnership itself ends, which is usually a good deal later. After a clock runs out, files may be deleted; tell us if you need longer and we will agree an arrangement in writing.

Refunds

Refunds have their own page, including the 14-day guarantee: Refunds and Cancellations, at /refunds.
