Cookie Policy
Cookies and similar technologies this site uses, and the choice you have about them.

The short version
Nothing non-essential runs until you choose it. You can accept or reject analytics, or manage the categories separately. The site remains available if you reject analytics.
Categories
Strictly necessary. Small pieces that make the site function: remembering your cookie choice itself, session basics, and the Cloudflare bot-check that protects our forms from abuse. These do not need consent and cannot be switched off, because the site does not work without them.
Analytics. If you accept, we use Microsoft Clarity, which records how pages are used, where a cursor goes, what gets clicked and where somebody gives up, and replays a reconstruction of the visit, and Google Analytics, which counts visits and traffic sources, so we can find what does not work. Set only with your consent.
Marketing. Advertising platform tags that measure whether our own campaigns work. Set only with your consent. None is currently in use: the day one ships, its row appears in the inventory below first.
The full inventory
The cookies this site sets. Essential, no consent needed: bubi-consent, set by this site to remember your cookie choice, kept 180 days. Analytics, only if you accept: _clck, set by Microsoft Clarity to recognise a returning visitor, kept about a year; _clsk, set by Microsoft Clarity to tie together the pages of a single visit, kept one day; _ga and _ga_BC4VH1DPJN, set by Google Analytics to count visits and distinguish visitors, kept about two years. When Clarity runs it also talks to Microsoft's own domains, where Microsoft sets cookies of its own (its documentation names CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID and SM); most browsers now restrict these as third-party cookies, but they belong in this list because completeness is the promise. Our forms run Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-check that loads from Cloudflare and may set its own strictly necessary cookies while it verifies a visitor is human; it needs no consent and runs only where a form is. One entry lives in browser storage rather than as a cookie: bubi-consent mirrors your cookie choice and stays until you clear your browser data. No tag ships without a row here, and no row exists without a tag.
Changing your mind
You can reopen the consent banner at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer and withdraw or change your choices. Reopening it clears your stored choice until you choose again, so nothing non-essential runs in between. Withdrawing consent takes effect immediately for future page loads. You can also clear cookies in your browser at any time.
