ExposeProfi

After the second project, the brief was one sentence: “the same as the old one.”

Their brief got shorter every time. Their corrections dropped roughly 95%. What two years of DACH property videos taught us about trust that compounds.

The partner

Client meetings, turned into the videos that sell a building

ExposéProfi builds 3D visualisations and digital marketing for new build property developers across the DACH region and, more recently, US student housing: turning architectural renders and their own client meetings into the videos that sell a building before it is finished. Most of what we have cut for them is not a render walkthrough. It is those meetings, recorded on Teams, turned into testimonials.

The decision

We said our German was conversational, from the first project

Our German was not fluent, and we said so from the first project:

Da unser Deutsch Konversation ist, wollen wir alle Details gut genug verstehen. (Since our German is conversational, we want to make sure we understand every detail properly.)

We asked for help with subtitle accuracy rather than guessing. The partner took us up on it, checking our German captions line by line and leaving 93 timestamped notes on the first project. We closed every one of them within three days.

The pattern

What that bought, over two years

The pattern that followed is the actual story. Every brief got shorter. Every round of corrections got lighter.

August 2023

A brief of roughly 200 words plus a separate task document. 93 pinned notes to close.

March 2024

A brief of roughly 60 words. 14 pinned notes.

September 2024

A brief of roughly 45 words: "we did two of them last year". 11 pinned notes.

June 2025

A brief of roughly 34 words: "we have a new project, the same as the old one". 4 timestamped notes.

The scope grew. The correction load fell roughly 95%.

Under strain

Three moments that held the line

When a delivered render looked softer than a previous one, the partner asked directly whether a higher quality version was possible, and re-recorded their source footage within seventeen minutes of raising it. When a project doubled in raw material, two videos instead of one and nearly thirty minutes of footage instead of ten, we said so plainly and kept the agreed price rather than renegotiating after the fact. And when a handshake clip revealed a visible tattoo, a detail that mattered because, in the partner's words, some of their own clients are conservative, we changed it the same night, unprompted.

We also said no once: a same day deadline request was declined as unrealistic. We still sent a two minute rough cut that day, so the partner had something for their board meeting.

In their words

The review, verbatim

Easy and uncomplicated experience - job was completed to the point! Would recommend 10/10 :)

Every figure above comes from our own correspondence archive for this partnership, August 2023 to July 2025, with the note counts as the platform recorded them. The review is public and quoted verbatim. The brand name is the partner's own public self description; the legal entity and its signer are withheld pending verification, and their end clients are not ours to name.

What you would get

The same start, before anyone talks about money

Every partnership here began the same way this one did: with the constraint named out loud and the scope agreed before the price. The free preliminary audit is where that starts. We do not quote before we have looked. Request yours.
